A nursery created in more than 100 years of horticulture experience
Arbour Grove Nursery is a nursery specialising in the propagation of fruit trees and vines. Owned and operated by Megan and Dave Crowhurst, the nursery is situated in the wonderful growing climate of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
The nursery sits on two hectares within the family farm, which has over 2,000 commercially producing lychee trees. There are also passionfruit vines, and custard apples. The farm is also home to the ‘Paxton Prolific’, also known as the ‘KJ Pink’, Custard Apple.
For Megan and Dave, it only felt natural to continue this long-standing family tradition and grow the nursery on this land. It’s this land that holds more than 100 years of agricultural and horticultural experience, lovingly passed down through the generations.
Arbour Grove Nursery's story began with a need for passionfruit vines.
Arbour Grove’s establishment was born from a need for passionfruit vines. At the time, growers were struggling to source quantities of vines they needed. Local nurseries had ceased propagating these vines and growers were in need of a new supplier.
So with a handful of orders from local growers, we planted our first seeds.
Today, Arbour Grove Nursery provides growers up and down Australia’s east coast with approximately 60,000 vines each year. We’re proud of the significant role our nursery has played in expanding the passionfruit industry.
Arbour Grove Nursery soon became a part of the Passionfruit Breeding Program.
Arbour Grove Nursery became part of the Passionfruit Breeding Program. It sees us partner with universities, industry partners, and passionfruit growers to develop new varieties of this beautiful fruit.
Now, we grow all kinds of fruit trees and vines.
Whilst our story begins with passionfruit vines, today, we support farmers and nurseries along Australia’s east coast and into South Australia with a wide variety of fruit trees and vines. From avocados and lychees to custard apples and mangoes. We have a wide and ever-expanding range of fruit trees and vines growing in our nursery.

We’re constantly working to improve and expand our range of fruit trees. We want to produce the superior plants, so you can produce the tastiest, most flavoursome fruits.
Arbour Grove Nursery is growing connections in the fruit tree landscape.
Our nursery has developed long-term relationships with many of our growers and customers. This comes back to our above-and-beyond approach to customer service. Our experienced horticulturists provide customers with advice long after trees and vines have left our nursery.
We aim to visit a number of our growers each year to nurture these relationships and ensure our plants are thriving on your farm. As well as this, our horticulturists attend many industry association meetings and field days to connect with other growers and continue to develop our own knowledge and techniques.
